In July, AWS announced support for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.0 and 9.1 on Amazon Elastic VMware Service (EVS), giving customers the ability to run VCF 9.x directly in their Amazon VPC on EC2 bare-metal infrastructure. At VMware Explore 2026, we’re bringing other major hyperscalers together to share the latest on their VCF 9.1 readiness and hybrid deployment options.
The session “Accelerate VCF 9 Upgrade with Hyperscaler Solutions for Hybrid Deployments” will feature a roundtable with representatives from leading hyperscalers. You’ll get an inside look at their VCF 9.1 roadmaps, discuss hybrid deployment options, and have the opportunity to ask your specific deployment questions directly to the experts.
VCF License Portability
At the heart of this discussion is the enterprise value of VCF license portability. With eligible subscription entitlements, you can move VMware workloads to hyperscalers with no refactoring. You can also transfer the remaining value of your VCF subscription to a hyperscaler and move entitlements back and forth as your business requirements evolve.
That flexibility lets you choose where workloads run as your business needs change, using familiar VMware tooling and skillsets while picking up new cloud capabilities.
If you’re planning a VCF 9 upgrade, evaluating hybrid deployment options, or have questions for the hyperscalers themselves, reserve your spot through the Explore Content Catalog.
