As teams from VMware and HPE are gathering this week at HPE’s flagship event of the year – HPE Discover we take a moment to discuss the importance of evolution in the hybrid cloud space.
Customers may already be familiar with the full software stack that is VMware Cloud Foundation, and its ability to deliver an end-to-end platform, ready and ripe for automation and orchestration. This platform is rooted in VMware’s power to virtualise every layer of the stack.
Today, we announce, together with HPE a new, deeper integration between HPE GreenLake and VMware Cloud Foundation. HPE GreenLake is an IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) offering provided by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). It is a flexible consumption-based model that allows organizations to consume and pay for their IT infrastructure and services on a usage-based, pay-per-use basis, similar to a utility model.
Introducing HPE GreenLake for VMware Cloud Foundation
By bringing together the two platforms together, customers have the ability to expand their hybrid cloud footprint and leverage the two solutions together, as one through a standardized ordering, factory loading of VMware Cloud Foundation, deployment and management and implementation, support, monitoring, operations and hardware management handled by HPE.
