We’re delighted to announce two major updates concerning the VMware NSX Migration for VMware Cloud Director tool! To begin with, presenting the most recent and final release, version 1.4.2.1, which as of November 9th, 2023, addresses numerous bug fixes and introduces new feature support. Additionally, we’re thrilled to declare that the source code for the VMware NSX Migration for VMware Cloud Director tool is now open-source. This empowers you with the freedom to effortlessly access and utilize the tool based on your individual preferences and requirements.

Open Source?
As we had announced in the blog “End of NSX Migration for VMware Cloud Director…! What Should I Know?” the VMware NSX Migration for VMware Cloud Director tool will mark the end of all future development and initiate the process to transition the tool to its End of Life (EOL) phase. General Support, including bug fixes and patches, will continue until End of General Support (EOGS) in January 2024.
We are thrilled to share the news that the VMware NSX Migration for VMware Cloud Director tool’s source code has been made accessible as an open-source initiative.
