My name is Cormac Hogan and I work in the HCI (HyperConverged Infrastructure) Business Unit at VMware. I joined VMware in 2005, and have previously held roles in VMware’s Technical Marketing & Technical Support organizations. I have written a number of storage related white papers and have given numerous presentations on vSphere storage best practices and features. I am also the co-author of the “Essential Virtual SAN” book published by VMware Press, and the “vSAN 6.7U1 Deep Dive” book.

John Gilmartin is the General Manager & Vice President of the Integrated Systems Business Unit at VMware, Inc. He rejoined VMware in January 2013 as vice president of products, Storage and Availability. Prior to that, Gilmartin served as vice president of Marketing at Coraid. Before joining Coraid, he led the product marketing team for VMware’s virtualization platform, VMware vSphere. She has also held various strategy, marketing and product roles at Marimba (acquired by BMC), Loudcloud (acquired by EDS/HP) and McKinsey. Purnima holds a MBA from Stanford University, a Master’s in Computer Engineering from University of Southern California and Bachelors in Computer Engineering and Classical Music.
