As VMworld heads into the home stretch, we want to make sure you don’t miss out on any opportunities before things come to an end! From learning sessions and event stations to Solutions Exchange, we’ve rounded up today’s key activities and look ahead to VMworld’s conclusion tomorrow.

First, we know that things can get pretty busy and sometimes you can’t attend all the sessions you want. This is why we offer the Session Re-Run Bar to ensure attendees have the chance to get information about sessions they missed, or get a full recap on sessions they attended. The Re-Run Bar is on the second floor near the Meet the Experts section, so be sure to check it out if you’re experiencing any FOMO.

Speaking of meeting experts, the Meet the Experts section was booming earlier today as attendees had the opportunity to ask experts their questions and learn more about each of their professional backgrounds. Whether it’s troubleshooting, support, deployment or any other IT topic, the Meet the Experts area has proven to be a great resource for attendees to talk through concepts and gain a better understanding of various technologies.

Over at the VMTN Community, attendees also enjoyed vBrownBag Tech Talks covering a variety of subjects like NSX and vRO. Between insightful presentations and the vExpert Daily livestream, attendees received first-hand access to diverse topics, creating an awesome collaborative learning environment.

Now let’s get you up to speed on what’s been happening at the VMware booth in Solutions Exchange! Today’s Theater Presentations included topics ranging from streamlining compliance and securing app infrastructure to transforming windows delivery and integrating public clouds with VMware Cloud.

These presentations focused on a variety of different industries. For example, attendees had the opportunity to learn about modernizing and mobilizing banking to personalize customer experiences and enhance customer trust. When it came to healthcare, another highly sensitive and lucrative industry, attendees learned how delivering connected healthcare can improve provider experience and protect patient information.

In terms of learning opportunities, “we are in the middle of a major revolution in IT,” VMware CTO of Cloud & Networking Guido Appenzeller said. Guido led the “VMware Cloud Services and How You Can Leverage SaaS for Your vSphere Data Center or the Public Cloud” session, which inspired a rousing discussion about cloud evolution. Attendees learned about public cloud integration and multi-cloud management while also getting to view a live cloud demo. It’s been only a year since VMware announced its cloud services, but we’ve already seen tremendous progress in how users can leverage SaaS services across IT landscapes.

That wraps up today’s recap! Although we’re admittedly sad to see VMworld US come to a close tomorrow, we’re excited to see what the final General Session has in store — you can bet it’s going to be the most outstanding session yet! See you tomorrow as we bid a grand farewell to VMworld US.
