VMware, the leader in private cloud, and Amazon Web Services, the leader in public cloud, are partnering to provide a new VMware vSphere-based cloud service running on AWS. This service will make it easier to run any application, using a common set of familiar software and tools, in a consistent hybrid cloud environment. AWS will be VMware’s primary public cloud infrastructure partner and this new service will be the primary public cloud solution delivered, sold and supported by VMware.
This week on the vSpeaking Podcast we bring in VMware Senior Staff Architect Frank Denneman to walk us through the details and use cases of this new service offering.
Frank Denneman is a Senior Staff Architect at VMware R&D, developing and communicating VMware’s technical marketing strategy of VMware Cloud on AWS.
