Virtually Speaking Podcast Episode 22 – NetApp ONTAP 9

ONTAP 9

Last month NetApp released their latest operating system ONTAP® 9 which is a major advance in enterprise data management software that combines new levels of simplicity and flexibility with powerful capabilities and efficiencies. This week we had the opportunity to catch up with our old friends from the Tech ONTAP Podcast and walk through some of the new features of ONTAP 9.

Tech ONTAP Podcast

If you’re a NetApp customer or a storage geek in general you may have stumbled across NetApp’s Tech ONTAP Podcast. This podcast is very much dedicated to storage technology.  It’s not one of those marketing engines used to push product.  While they do focus primarily on NetApp technology, it is simply for the love and passion of storage technology.  How do I know? Because not only was I a NetApp employee but I used to co-host the podcast with Glenn Sizemore, Andrew Sullivan and Justin Parisi.

ONTAP 9 Month

Last month the Tech ONTAP Podcast spent weeks deep diving into the key features and capabilities of ONTAP 9.  While on this episode of the vSpeaking Podcast we attempted to provide a brief overview, I highly recommend listening to the Tech ONTAP Podcast series entitled ONTAP 9 Month.
