As the VMware Technical Account Manager (TAM) practice lead in the Americas, I have had the privilege of hearing from many TAM customers over the years regarding the multiple ways their TAM delivers results for them. We recently commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a study with TAM customers to see if we could get some hard measures around TAM value as well. I’m very pleased to report that the findings of the Forrester TEI study do just that. The study found a 301% ROI, less than 6 month payback, and $2.8M NPV from the VMware TAM service over a 3 year time period. Customers cited multiple benefits, including better access to VMware resources, better strategic planning, and better VMware solution utilization and performance.
