We are in the process of simplifying the registration and scheduling process for VMware Advanced exams (VCAP5-DCA, VCAP5-DCD or VCIX-NV) to eliminate the need for a second PearsonVue account. However, this entails some short term impacts to our registration process you should be aware of.
- From now until October 15, you will not be able to register for any Advanced exam appointments beyond November 30, 2015
- Between October 15-18, exam registration will be closed for Advanced exams only to ensure a smooth transition.
- On October 19, you will once again be able to register for any Advanced VMware exam throughout the rest of 2015 and beyond.
As of October 19, the NEW process will be streamlined so that candidates will no longer be required to click on a separate link to register for their Advanced exams. The new process for existing candidates scheduling their first VCAP/VCIX exam will be:
- Request exam authorization at www.vmware.com/certification
- Once authorization has been granted, sign into http://www.pearsonvue.com/vmware/
- Finish your exam registration as usual
We hope that you will find that this short-term limitation will result in simplifying your VMware Advanced exam scheduling experience once the process is completed on October 19.
The project does NOT involve any exam retirements and does NOT involve any exam content changes. This project is strictly related to simplifying the process by which you register for VMware Advanced certification exams.
