The End of General Support (EOGS) for vSphere 5.5 and vSAN 5.5 is September 19, 2018. To maintain your full level of Support and Subscription Services after this date, your customers will need to upgrade to vSphere 6.5 or 6.7. Upgrading to vSphere delivers the latest vSAN release and capabilities (consider leveraging the ‘Hit Refresh’ campaign – article in Marketing section below – to target your vSphere customers). Please note that vCloud Suite 5 and vSphere with Operations Management customers running vSphere 5.5 are also recommended to upgrade to vSphere 6.5 or 6.7. Beginning August 6, 2018, the End of Availability (EOA) of Basic Federal Support and Basic Support for NSX and vSAN will take effect and the offering will no longer be quoted, although outstanding, active quotations will be orderable until their expiration.
