VMware announced the End of Availability (EoA) for VMware vCloud SP Standard Bundle (5pt) to any new users effective April 15, 2018. Existing cloud providers using the VMware vCloud SP Standard Bundle can continue to use and report consumption of the 5pt Bundle through March 2020. Service Provider partners using the Standard Bundle as of March 2018 can continue to use and report the standard Bundle as per earlier communication, however the last reporting date has been extended from September 2018 to January 2019. Learn more.

We announced the expansion of the VMware Partner Network (VPN) program to enable Solution Providers, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and System Integrators/System Outsourcers (SISOs) to grow their hybrid cloud business. And we also launched a new VMware Cloud on AWS Solution Competency which provides the training, enablement, and rewards partners need to be successful selling and managing VMware Cloud on AWS.
Last month, the vCloud Air Network (vCAN) program name changed to the VMware Cloud Provider Program. The new program name better conveys the breadth of cloud services that you provide and it will also be incorporated into the broader VMware message of supporting vSphere workloads in private, public, and hybrid clouds.
