NEW CAMPAIGN The new VMware vSphere with Tanzu campaign is for upgrading existing vSphere customers to vSphere with Tanzu, which opens the door for other upsell and cross-sell opportunities. vSphere 7 is key to infrastructure modernization and agile operations.
The VMware Tanzu page on Partner Connect has been redesigned to include sales and training assets to help your company accelerate your App Modernization process.
Note, the new Modern Applications Platform (MAP) Solutions Competency replaced the VMware PKS Solution Competency on August 21. If you have achieved the PKS Solution Competency or completed the requirements by September 21, you will be granted Provisional Status toward the MAP Solution Competency and will have until February 21, 2021 to meet new requirements. Effective June 1, 2020, VMware SD-WAN by VeloCloud standard SKUs are now available (along with ELAs and SPFs) in VMware Partner Connect and the VMware SD-WAN SKUs will no longer be available for MSPs and Resellers through the VeloCloud Partner Program. Partners, you must have hardware terms & conditions in your contract in order to transact hardware in Partner Connect – be sure to sign the updated Partner Connect Program agreement to ensure hardware eligibility. The VMware SD-WAN by VeloCloud Not-For-Resale (NFR) Program is also now available. These NFR entitlements are designed to allow eligible partners to purchase VMware SD-WAN NFR products and services for demonstration and training purposes only.
