Last month (effective April 2, 2020) VMware announced that the Platinum portfolio is no longer available for purchase. VMware vRealize Operations 6.7, is the last release bundling vRealize Configuration Manager. VMware vRealize Operations Enterprise customers upgrading to versions 7.0 will continue to be entitled to vRealize Configuration Manager for their existing footprint, but Advanced customers upgrading to versions 7.0 will no longer be entitled. If your customers use vRealize Configuration Manager today, they can continue to use versions up to 5.8.4, as packaged with vRealize Operations 6.7. In May and June respectively, VMware discontinued the availability of VMware Mirage and VMware Horizon FLEX and the SKUs for renewals and new sales have also been removed. VMware will end general support for Mirage and Horizon FLEX on June 30, 2019 and technical support on June 30, 2020. Alternative product options include AirWatch UEM as part of Workspace ONE.
Beginning August 6, 2018, the End of Availability (EOA) of Basic Federal Support and Basic Support for NSX and vSAN will take effect and the offering will no longer be quoted, although outstanding, active quotations will be orderable until their expiration.
