Bitnami is FREE for VMware Cloud Provider Partners

Since November, Bitnami content (previously Bitnami Community Catalog) has been available for free to VMware Cloud Providers via VMware Marketplace (accessible from a service tile on VMware Cloud Partner Navigator/Cloud Provider Hub). Cloud Provider partners do not need MSP commit contracts to access Bitnami content. Any Bitnami application is downloadable onto VMware Cloud Director, vCenter, and VMware Cloud end-points, where customers can easily access them. In addition, container images and Helm chart repositories from Bitnami’s 130+ open source components are also available on VMware Cloud Director (10.2) App Launchpad that provides catalogs of deployment-ready applications for developers and DevOps engineers.¬†Read more.

VMware Cloud Director Availability 4.0 is now GA + Cloud Director Service Initial Availability

Introducing VMware Cloud Director Service Initial Availability 
Available to Cloud Providers who are signed up to the MSP program. Cloud Director Service provides multi-tenanted IAAS services on VMware Cloud on AWS and is delivered as a SaaS service in order to sell smaller chunks of VMware Cloud on AWS IAAS in resource pools to tenants. The value is that this service provides an on-ramp for bigger deals (addressing differing customer tiers with smaller offerings), a unified operating model, and geographic extensibility though a single self-service dashboard.
