Both solutions will leverage AWS Outposts and include new, fully managed and configurable compute and storage racks built with AWS-designed hardware that allow customers to run compute and storage on-premises, while seamlessly connecting to the rest of AWS’s broad array of services in the cloud. Together these offerings will enable customers with a consistent infrastructure and operational experience across all VMware and AWS cloud environments. Learn more.

The series kicks off on Nov-15 with Making Hybrid Cloud Real….Hybrid cloud environments are increasingly gaining in popularity because it allows enterprises to leverage the best of both worlds when it comes to their application and infrastructure needs. This webinar will examine hybrid clouds and how VMware Cloud on AWS helps enterprises accelerate their journey to the hybrid cloud. Join IDC, VMware, and AWS as we jointly discuss the hybrid cloud – customer’s needs, its use cases, challenges, and solutions. VMware Cloud on AWS delivers a highly scalable, secure and resilient service that allows organizations to seamlessly migrate and extend their on-premises VMware vSphere-based environments to the AWS Cloud running on next-generation Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) bare metal infrastructure. Additionally you will learn the architecture of the service, integration with AWS services, unique benefits and business value, its partner ecosystem, consumption options, pricing and total cost of ownership versus other alternatives. Finally, you will see a demo and learn how to get started using the service. Time will be reserved at the end for questions and answers.
