The Directorate for Agrarian Payments is responsible for the implementation of Serbia’s agricultural subsidies program. In the past, the directorate ran its core applications on a traditional three-tier environment, but reliability issues increased the risk of operational disruption. To solve the challenge, the directorate moved to a Lenovo and VMware HCI platform to ensure that the IT systems underpinning agricultural subsidies are available 24/7.
