This is our first mobile cloud identity management platform that federates user accounts for SaaS, web, cloud – and now – native mobile apps that require no change to the app itself. Beginning in July 2015, new and existing AirWatch Blue and Yellow management suite customers who either operate on premise or in a shared cloud environment will receive VMware Identity Manager as a new component of the suites upon acceptance of the EULA and Terms of Service for vIdentity Manager. For on-premise customers, VMware Identity Manager is delivered as a virtual appliance for simple installation. For cloud-based customers, VMware Identity Manager is offered as a multi-tenant shared SaaS Service, initially online in the US, but with regional services coming online in Europe and Asia Pacific later in Q3.
