Day two has already come and gone and what a fantastic day it was! Yesterday’s General Session took a technical deep dive into our solutions, further showcasing how our technology works. Sanjay Poonen then discussed our mobile landscape and our leadership across desktop, mobile and content.

As we continue our journey into the Software-Defined Data Center, we must remember it’s all about giving customers the freedom of choice. vCloud Air seamlessly and securely extends the data center and applications into the cloud via a common platform and common management. For those of you who weren’t able to watch the keynote live, the General Session replay is available here.
This year we are debuting the VMware Foundation and sharing our values around giving back with our customers and partners. In the words of our CMO, Robin Matlock, and in true VMware spirit, we’re “making giving take flight” by challenging attendees to test their ingenuity and fly a paper plane for a cause of their choice. It’s wonderful to see Destination GiveBack at VMworld taking off – people are having a lot of fun and experiencing our EPIC2 values in action.
