VPN ‘How To’ Series: Partner Enablement Opportunities

Our VPN ‘How To’ Series is a monthly blog dedicated to keeping partners in the know about the program and other areas of focus that influence growth. As we close in on another quarter, there is no better time to take advantage of all that VMware has to offer for FY13Q4. Below are 3 ways you can take advantage of VMware’s Partner Enablement opportunities:

1. Learning Has Gone Mobile- Visit the Mobile Knowledge Portal

Announcing the Partner Mobile Knowledge Portal – a tablet-based application exclusively for VMware Partners – available for iOS and Android platforms.  After logging in using your Partner Central account credentials, you get easy online access to content, or download what you need and view offline at your convenience.  In addition to eLearning, the PMKP offers training tools, customer presentations and other assets to help make you successful selling and supporting VMware solutions

2. Download the New Partner Launch Playbooks

In conjunction with the announcements at VMworld, we have created and released three new Partner Launch Playbooks:

·      vCloud Hybrid Service

·      vCloud Suite

·      vSphere with Operations Manager

These playbooks are standardized documents that outline the Partner Opportunity and bring together the Enablement (Learn), Marketing (Market) and Sales (Sell) tools into one place so you can more easily uptake and monetize newly launched VMware products and solutions.

3. Get Info Fast –Partner Learning Pages Have Launched

Now you have fast access to Partner training information directly from vmware.com – no more logging into Partner Central or Partner University. Get information on role-based learning paths, solution competencies, and regional training events. You’ll also find quick links to Partner readiness tools and easily downloadable resources. Visit http://www.vmware.com/partners and click on Partner University.

Live the VMworld Experience in Barcelona

A year after introducing the software-defined data center (SDDC) architecture, this vision has gained acceptance across the IT industry from tech giants and startups, in addition to leading analyst firms.
