VMware Horizon Suite: The Workforce Mobility Solution for EUC

Earlier this year VMware launched VMware Horizon Suite, a workforce mobility solution to help you capitalize on end-user computing (EUC) trends. The Suite includes Horizon Workspace, Horizon Mirage and Horizon View. Together they provide the platform for your customers to securely access data from their chosen device without sacrificing IT security and control.

To help you quickly take advantage of the EUC opportunity, we have a few incentives and sales tools you should be aware of:

First, download the new Sales Byte, Virtualization Expansion for Simplified Desktop Management, to help you cross-sell VMware EUC solutions such as View and Mirage into your existing vSphere install base. There also are partner incentives and customer promotions available for Horizon Suite. For a limited time, Desktop Competency partners can earn an additional 5% Solutions Rewards rebate on eligible Horizon SKUs by upgrading their VMware View customers to Horizon Suite, and customers can get Horizon Suite for 49% off and a 25% discount on additional Horizon Suite licenses.

VPN ‘How To’ Series: Sales Bytes

Our VPN ‘How To’ Series is a monthly blog dedicated to keeping partners in the know about the program and other areas of focus that influence growth. So far in this series, we’ve focused on how to best leverage the Partner Support Center (a partner’s first line of support) and how to Expand Your Social Media Presence.  This month is all about learning how to leverage our proven tools for fast-tracking Small and Mid-sized Businesses (SMB) sales.

VMworld 2013: Start Planning Your Experience

Join us in San Francisco on August 25-29 and learn how to Defy Convention by extending the benefits of virtualization to all data center services. Here partners will gain the tools needed to transform conventional remedies into seamless, agile solutions that dramatically simplify operations.
The Content Catalog is a registrant’s guide to VMworld 2013.  It includes detailed descriptions of designated tracks, sessions, speaker information, and hands-on labs.  Plus, it features a ‘Site Menu’ so that registrants can filter by session type, tracks, level, and area interests.  While the Content Catalog just launched, we already have over 20 sessions in the Partner Track – with more to come.

Registrants are encouraged to check the Content Catalog often and leverage it along with Schedule Builder (coming end of July) to secure a space in a session and to customize their own event experience.
