There is a proverb that states:
Tell me, I’ll forget… Show me, I’ll remember … Involve me, I’ll understand
It is for that reason that the Expert-led Workshops and the Hands on Labs are one of the more popular parts of the VMworld conference.
What is the difference between an Expert Led workshop and Hands on Lab?
- Expert-led Workshops (ELW)
Our Expert-Led Workshops (which take place in the Hands-On Labs area) provide intimate access to VMware product experts in an engaging instructional environment. This is a great opportunity to interact with the subject-matter experts who built the labs. Join us to get your questions answered and discuss solutions in a group setting. To attend an Expert-Led Workshop, you must pre-register for a seat in advance by using the schedule builder feature that’s built into Content Catalog. - Self-paced Labs (SPL)
Self-Paced Labs are our popular standard service where you can interact with the latest VMware products at your own pace at a traditional workstation. These labs are delivered on a first-come, first-served basis and do not need to be scheduled in advance.
