The VMware vCAC team is happy to announce the vCAC content pack for Log Insight!
The content pack includes dashboards, queries and alerts to assist with log analysis, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for most of the key components of vCAC 6.0, including the Service Catalog, IaaS and Application Director, as well as SSO and Apache. It also provides an aggregated view of logs across all of these components in a single pane along with the very powerful querying power of Log Insight!
Like all Log Insight content packs, the vCAC content pack is freely available for download from VMware Solution Exchange.
The vCAC content pack supports the following product versions:
- vCAC 6.0.x
- SSO 2.x
- vCO 5.1.x
- Application Director 6.x
- Log Insight 1.x
vCAC is a distributed system with both Linux and Windows components. To configure each component to forward syslog events, a document has been created complete with configuration files. The document can be found under the Resources tab of the vCAC Content Pack Solution Exchange listing.
