Welcome to the new VMware Learning training course and IT certification exam blog for July 2021. A whopping 13 new courses have been added recently to help you develop your skills and expand your knowledge. Summaries of each new course are provided below.
This five-day, hands-on training course provides you with the advanced knowledge, skills and tools to achieve competency in operating and troubleshooting the VMware Telco Cloud Automation™ environment. This course introduces you to VMware Telco Cloud Automation infrastructure settings, deployment options and procedures. You’ll explore Containers-as-a-Service and understand the workflow details of Partner Integration processes. The course introduces you to zero-touch provisioning and its importance in VMware Telco Cloud Automation. You’ll onboard and instantiate network functions and network services using hands-on lab exercises.
In this five-day course, you’ll focus on deploying, configuring, integrating, designing and managing VMware Cloud Director™ 10.x network objects with VMware NSX-TTM Data Center. This course also focuses on designing, integrating, configuring and managing VMware Cloud Director™ 10.x with VMware NSX® Advanced Load Balancer™.
This hands-on training course, equivalent to five days of training, provides you with the knowledge, skills and tools to achieve competency in configuring, operating and troubleshooting VMware NSX-T™ Data Center for intrinsic security. The course introduces you to all the security features in NSX-T Data Center, including distributed and gateway firewall, Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDS/IPS), VMware NSX® Intelligence™ and Network Detection and Response (NDR).
This four-day, hands-on training course provides you with the knowledge, skills and tools for deploying and managing a VMware Cloud™ on AWS infrastructure. You’ll explore the common use cases of the VMware Cloud on AWS infrastructure, which allows you to modernize, protect and scale applications based on VMware vSphere® that leverage AWS.
This two-day course gives VMware vRealize® Operations™ administrators the skills to perform basic troubleshooting tasks. The course also gives administrators the skills to ensure that their vRealize Operations instance meets its use-case objectives of continuous performance optimization, app-aware intelligent remediation and integrated compliance.

In this course, you are taught the many considerations that the vSAN configuration has on the initial planning of the vSAN datastore. You will also manually configure a vSAN cluster.

Through a combination of hands-on labs, simulations and interactive lectures, you investigate various methods for onboarding, securing, enabling and maintaining Windows 10 with Workspace ONE. Through a detailed evaluation of your options, you will establish the foundation of a modern management strategy that fits your organization’s needs.
During this course, equivalent to five days of training, you focus on installing, configuring and managing VMware vRealize® Automation™. You’ll learn about how vRealize Automation can be used to automate the delivery of virtual machines, applications and personalized IT services across different data centers and hybrid cloud environments. The course covers how to manage both on-premises systems and cloud services. The course covers how vRealize Automation Service Broker can aggregate content in native formats from multiple clouds and platforms into a common catalog.
This three-day, hands-on training course provides you with the knowledge and skills to achieve competency in deploying, configuring, and managing the VMware NSX-TTM Data Center Federation. This course first introduces you to the architecture of the NSX-T Data Center Federation and then covers all features and functionality offered in the Federation, including the deployment of logical switching, logical routing, and security policies across multiple sites. Finally, the course describes various disaster recovery scenarios for the Federation.
This two-day, hands-on course gives you the skills to deploy and use VMware vRealize® Network Insight™ to ensure an optimized, highly available and secure infrastructure for your applications. You will learn the features, components, architecture and benefits of vRealize Network Insight and how to use it to simplify daily operation and troubleshooting tasks.
In this two-day course, you learn to investigate, analyze and determine issues that might occur with all the different components of VMware Workspace ONE® UEM. Understanding how to effectively troubleshoot product issues enables administrators to understand how product services communicate and function — in turn optimizing service and software health management. Troubleshooting is the backbone of service maintenance and management.
This four-day, hands-on training course provides you with the advanced knowledge, skills and tools to install, configure and manage VMware Tanzu™ Kubernetes Grid™ Integrated Edition. In this course, you are introduced to workflows of Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated Edition to manage Kubernetes workloads and to integrate Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated Edition with other VMware products.
