Just a heads up as we are seeing a lot of call volume today related to users who have updated to version 1.2 of the Android or iPad client and are unable to connect through their security server if they are using self-signed certificates.
We are working on getting a KB out on the issue as soon as we can, but I’m including the resolution below in case you are running into this.
To resolve the issue on the iPad:
- Click on the Settings icon
- Click on VMware View
- Click on Certificate Checking Mode on the right side
- Click on Allow the unverifiable connection
To resolve the issue on the Android:
- On the Add View Connection Servers page
- Press the Menu key
- Click on Security Mode
- Click on Allow the unverifiable connection
