This video teaches you how to change the time zone on your VMware ESX host. This information is helpful in situations where the wrong time zone was selected during installation. The video was created using VMware ESX 4.0, but the same basic steps apply to other versions of VMware ESX.
Note: An ESX host with the wrong date and time or time zone passes on that wrong information. When a virtual machine boots up it seems to get its initial time from the BIOS hardware clock which comes from the ESX host.
