VMware Explore Public Sector Preview: It’s Time to Build Your Event Schedule!

After two years of virtual events, participants will have a chance to enjoy hands-on experiences and an opportunity to network with colleagues and friends at VMware Explore from August 29th – September 1st, 2022. The global multi-cloud industry event will bring together attendees at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, including many from the public sector, to focus on topics from SASE, to multi-cloud, to cloud native and beyond.

We are at a crossroads with hybrid work, putting cloud services at the forefront of how major institutions and entire municipalities are managed daily. From payroll and healthcare platforms to cybersecurity, countless people rely on the speed, efficiency, and interconnectivity of key services in the public sector.

At the same time, government IT spending around the world this year is projected to total more than $560 billion, marking a 5 percent increase from 2021, according to Gartner, Inc. There is a shared responsibility among all of us to ensure those investments serve a greater good.

What is VMware Explore?

VMware Explore is focused on surmounting the everyday problems we all face in our complex and ever-evolving IT landscape through collaborative learning and thought leadership from experts in the tech space. Our featured speakers include VMware CEO Raghu Raghuram and President Sumit Dhawan, as well as Kelsey Hightower, a Principal Engineer at Google.

“I can’t wait to welcome all the innovators who are leading the way in defining the multi-cloud era, including our customers, our ecosystem partners and influencers from around the world,” says Raghuram.

VMware Explore is an evolution of our flagship conference, VMworld, with the inclusion of even more new technologies and ecosystems that help shape the multi-cloud universe.

While the event will remain familiar to previous attendees of VMworld, Explore will also offer many fresh opportunities for discovery. This year’s event will show participants new ways to empower hybrid workforces, accelerate cloud transformations, and build their own cloud platforms from the ground up — both in-person and via unique on-demand content and event replays.

Through our feature-rich technical content and over 20 public sector-oriented sessions, attendees will have an opportunity to learn from seasoned VMware customers, engage with an extensive ecosystem of top cloud and Edge system partners, and tap into the thriving network of independent software vendors in the multi-cloud universe.

In-person attendees will also have an open door to collaborate with potential partners to find new approaches for outdated infrastructure, monolithic applications, and security gaps by simplifying multi-cloud complexities without compromise.
