Moving beyond crisis

Listen to Episode Two of the new Digital Journeys podcast ‘Future Ready’ series. Thought provoking and entertaining, but above all, actionable insights brought to you by VMware and 3rd party industry voices.

Throughout this crisis, most organisations reacted quickly, shifting tethered employees to establish remote workforce, identifying new models for customer support, implementing temporary solutions for patient services, extending education through distance learning platforms, expanding video conference and collaboration services and investing in on-demand infrastructure to respond to changing market demands. All of this was accomplished while ensuring the safety and security of employees, customers, systems and data.

With this stability, the priority is now how to operate and succeed in this new reality. With constrained budgets and an uncertain economy, every investment must deliver a return – revenue growth, stronger business operations, resiliency that protects the organisation against future challenges. The opportunity is to adapt current business operations, expand automation, invest in more agile infrastructure, evolve customer engagement models and deploy new services to employees and customers more rapidly than ever.

In Episode Two of the ‘Future Ready’ podcast series, Rory Choudhuri, EMEA Director Product Marketing for Cloud, hosts a panel of customer-facing VMware experts to discuss how technology will be an essential catalyst to accelerate and strengthen every business as we move into the ‘respond’ phase and return to growth.

Episode 2: Moving beyond crisis.
At some point, pandemic responses must shift from being reactive to responsive. This phase calls for strategies to strengthen operations, increase viability and return to growth. Will adaptation require re-evaluation of existing technology investments? Will it demand new investments? Rory Choudhuri and a panel of experts across the Applications, Cloud and Digital Workspace Business Units discuss how customers can ensure business resilience.
