In Response to the Current Health Crisis, Cepsa Keeps Workers Safe with VMware Cloud on AWS

Posted on 19/05/2020

Cepsa is a global company operating across the entire oil and gas value chain. A leader in Spain, it is present in all five continents. Committed to health and safety, Cepsa strives daily to offer workers, customers and suppliers a safe working environment.

In response to the current global health situation, Cepsa, which had already implemented remote work policies, has extended them. This is enabling remote work for its employees, helping to keep the business going while keeping its workers safe. To accomplish this, Cespa needed to create an additional virtual network infrastructure in a fast and easy way. Trust proved essential to implement VMware’s solution in an extended data centre to great results.

This shows how the effective and responsible use of technology, along with teamwork and trust between organisations, can result in common good, especially in hard times when an immediate response is necessary.

Thanks to the joint efforts made and Cepsa’s trust in VMware, the VMware Cloud on AWS solution has enabled the energy company to implement a flexible working scheme without loss of productivity or IT security. Above all, it has enabled remote work for Cepsa, which means its employees can keep working while complying with the Government’s guidance. #StayAtHome
