VMworld 2018 Europe: Your Guide to Storage and Availability Activities

Posted on 05/11/2018

The VMware vSAN team is ready for VMworld round two and we can’t wait to meet you. If it’s not obvious, we are hyped about hyperconverged infrastructure, and the same can be said about our 15,000 customers. VMworld is the ideal place to check out VMware’s innovative technologies, including our market-leading hyperconverged infrastructure solution powered by vSAN.  Get ready to nerd-out, because we have thrilling keynotes, engaging panels and leading insights waiting for you in Barcelona.

We’ve mapped out the top storage and availability activities at VMworld Europe. Catch all the highlights here:

Stop by at the Solutions Exchange

First stop: the VMware Booth on the Solutions Exchange floor. When you spot the Modernize the Data Center area, you’ll know you’re in the right place. We’ll be showcasing both vSAN and SRM, so stop by and get your questions answered.

The Solutions Exchange will also host the HCI Zone. We’ll focus on running mission-critical applications—from Containerized MySQL to SAP HANA to Apps running in the Edge.  Find all of your vSAN solutions in one place so you can make an informed decision for your organization. Be sure to stop by the demo stations focused on vSAN, Virtual Volumes, vSAN in VMware Cloud, VMware Site Recovery (DRaaS to AWS) and SRM.

Swerve on over to Hands-On-Labs

Ready for a test drive? VMworld attendees gain special access to the latest VMware technologies without the purchase of equipment, software or licenses. You’ll want to check out the vSAN 6.7 lab as well as our VxRail lab which shows how to get started with a HCI appliance. It doesn’t get any easier to stand up hyperconverged infrastructure than that.

Plan Your Ideal Schedule

So many options, so little time! We can tell you this, there’s no such thing as a bad session. Come armed with questions for our storage experts and customer panelists. Make the most out of your trip.

vSAN & VxRail, SRM, Virtual Volumes, the list goes on. Our sessions will include real-life customers, industry analysts, and technical and business partners. Learn from and network with people who have common interests and questions. From spotlight sessions, to breakouts and group discussions, check out this blog with our Must-See vSAN sessions.
