Listen to Episode One of the new Digital Journeys podcast ‘Future Ready’ series. Thought provoking and entertaining, but above all, actionable insights brought to you by VMware and 3rd party industry voices.

’At a time when ‘business as usual’ is not an option, we need to focus on helping each other, and assisting our customers as they respond and adapt’’ PAT GELSINGER, CEO, VMWARE

Digital-first has replaced digital transformation as the imperative for organizations to align technology investments with business goals. It is crucial for every business to respond quickly and adapt, and to become more resilient, more flexible and more prepared to drive recovery and growth in the face of inevitable future challenges. This is what VMware call being Future Ready.

Businesses are facing three distinct phases requiring action. The first is triage: immediate response when time is of the essence and it demands urgent action to help those most in need. The second is embracing our new normal, challenging old assumptions and adopting more efficient and empathetic ways of operating. The third is about new opportunities, driving systemic and structural changes for the better in areas like health, education and work. Future Ready is a set of clear steps and actions your organization can take to drive stability, growth and innovation, regardless of specific challenges and goals.

Garry Owen, EMEA Senior Product Marketing for Virtual Cloud Network, Andy Philp, EMEA Senior Product Marketing for Digital Workspace and Rory Choudhuri, EMEA Director Product Marketing for Cloud host this series taking us through these distinct phases and how technology can support this Digital-first journey.
