VMware AirWatch: Configure and Deploy Integrated Solutions provides the skills required to configure and provision VMware AirWatch® cloud deployments. It will cover the enablement of containerized applications, deployment and management of corporate email, and integration with enterprise resources.

VMware vRealize Network Insight Fundamentals explains the features and benefits of VMware vRealize Network Insight and describes essential installation processes. This free eLearning course also details the product architecture and demonstrates how to access and navigate various tasks in the vRealize Network Insight user interface.

VCP7-CMA Exam Now Available

vmw-lgo-cert-pro-7-cld-mgmt-autoThe new VMware Certified Professional 7 – Cloud Management and Automation (VCP7-CMA) certification validates your skills in installing, configuring, and optimizing public, private, and hybrid clouds using the VMware vRealize Suite v7.x. This exam (#2V0-731) is now available for registration at Pearson Vue.

Thank you to everyone who assisted in the exam development process, including everyone who took the beta version of this exam. Those beta exam results should be released by the end of December.

They’re Back! Education Lounge Sessions at VMworld 2016 Europe

211894-vmworld-social-media-FB-1200x630VMworld 2016 Europe is less than two weeks away! We wanted to make sure you knew about the learning opportunities available from the VMware Education Services team.

We have four great VMworld Education Breakout Sessions planned on topics including vSphere and Horizon troubleshooting. And back by popular demand will be our Theatre Sessions in the VMworld Education and Certification Lounge, located in VMvillage in Hall 8.1. You can add these to your schedule using the VMworld 2016 Europe Schedule Builder.

Things to know:

  • Each session is 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A
  • All technical sessions are presented by VMware Certified Instructors
  • Many sessions will include Q&A with senior technical support staff
  • Walk-Ins are welcome! If the session shows closed, come by anyway. We will find a place for you.

This five-day course equips experienced VMware vSphere® administrators with the knowledge to use the automation tools that all vSphere customers have access to. Using real-world use cases and examples, students learn how to automate day-to-day administration tasks with VMware vSphere® PowerCLI™ and VMware vRealize® Orchestrator™. In this class, you use these tools to automate tasks in a lab environment.

  • Designed for experienced VMware vSphere® users, VMware vRealize Operations Manager: Install, Configure, Manage [V6.2] teaches you how to use VMware vRealize® Operations Manager™ as a forensic and predictive tool, including advanced capabilities, customization and management. 
  • The new App Volumes Application and User Profile Management v2.x course builds your skills in application management using VMware App Volumes™ and VMware User Environment Manager™. You will learn how to use App Volumes to enable the delivery of applications and data to desktops and users in seconds and at scale. You will gain skills in managing application lifecycle from installation to update and replacement.
  • During Virtual SAN: Deploy & Manage [V6.2] you will focus on deploying and managing a software-defined storage solution with VMware Virtual SAN™ 6.2. You will learn how Virtual SAN functions as an important component in the VMware software-defined data center (SDDC).
  • The On Demand version of our NSX: Install, Configure, Manage v6.2 course focuses on installing, configuring, and managing VMware NSX®. You will learn how to use logical switching in VMware NSX to virtualize your switching environment. The course also details logical routing to enable you to dynamically route between different virtual environments, as well as how to use gateway services, firewall configurations, and security services to help secure and optimize your VMware NSX environment.
