Over the weekend, VMware and Pearson VUE have made system changes to simplify the certification exam registration process. You will now find that exam registration is a seamless experience when you log into your VMware myLearn account.

exam registration buttonJust select the “Register Now” button or link while navigating through the VMware Certification website and you will be directed into your Pearson VUE\VMware profile to complete your exam registration.

No more exam authorization required! No more multiple accounts or log-ins between Professional and Advanced registration necessary. Just ONE click after you have logged into you VMware myLearn account.

    Hi Paul, quick question, not sure if it’s related, as you said no longer authorization is required from VMware.

    Does the course pre-requisite still apply for the VCP?, for example if you are new to vmware certification

      HI David,

      Yes, the certification requirements remain the same (meaning course attendance the is required the first time that you become a VCP). Candidates must still meet all requirements for a given certification before it will be granted.

      Our goal is to streamline the registration process significantly and provide some flexibility for folks as they become certified.
