With offerings in areas such as Unified Communications, Security & Networking, as well as Cloud & Managed Services, Peak UpTime has over 30 years of business experience when it comes to delivering seamless technology solutions. They provide customized cutting-edge solutions, with the personal attention of an agile partner who treats your business as their own.

Peak UpTime knew they wanted to evolve their business to include cloud-based service delivery. The only issue was how to go about it. With a great customer base, they looked at investment and need to build. So Peak UpTime started to seek a partner which would increase their capability to go to market faster than what it would have been had they built something from scratch.

They found that partner in the VMware vCloud Air Network, with Faction, who provides extreme performance, private cloud consumed in public units, hybrid, and multi-cloud solutions.

Faction managed the hardware layer, as well as the VMware layer – this included management of firmware upgrades and extending the capabilities of the Peak UpTime engineering staff. Being a 100% VMware shop, this was one of the things Peak UpTime was really looking for in a cloud partner.

In addition to owning a secure network, Faction provides Peak UpTime with a compliant Cloud – Faction owns compliance certifications from SOC1, SOC2, HIPAA, PCI to name a few. Matt Auld, Regional VP, Cloud and Managed Services at Peak UpTime notes, “Those [compliance certifications] are things that would have taken us forever to get to that point, to be able to offer our clients. It makes us look good to our client base, simply because they are so good.”

Working with Faction and VMware has been advantageous for Peak UpTime – since the partnership, Peak UpTime has seen 50% year over year growth.
