The VMware vCloud Hybrid Service team is looking forward to this year’s EMC World! We’ll be front-and-center at EMC World, hosting breakout sessions, booth demos and keynote addresses throughout the conference. We’re also participating in a live three-day demonstration on the show floor where attendees will be able to watch a hybrid cloud – featuring vCloud Hybrid Service – being built from scratch!
If you’re attending EMC World, here’s a rundown of what you won’t want to miss:
Build a Hybrid Cloud Live!
Visit the EMC Build-A-Hybrid Cloud Live booth (Booth #850) on the show floor to see how fast EMC can create a hybrid cloud from scratch, based on VMware’s vCloud Hybrid Service. vCloud Hybrid Service offers on-demand provisioning and support for existing workloads, as well as new application development, enabling customer clouds to flex beyond their data center without changing the way they run IT.
EMC will have a special booth traffic driver with light-up pins for booth attendees. During the conference, EMC’s own “Cloud Patrol” will search the show floor for attendees wearing one of these “Build a Hybrid Cloud Live” light-up pins. If the Cloud Patrol catches you wearing one, you’ll have the opportunity to win a prize at the EMC booth!
Build-a-Hybrid-Cloud Live is just one of the many opportunities to learn how EMC Storage and VMware vCloud Hybrid Service are defining the Software Defined Enterprise together.
The VMware booth (Booth #226) will host a variety of informational activities, workshops and sessions. We’ll be demonstrating our Platform-as-a-Service solution for cloud portability and showing how vCloud Hybrid Service can be used for Disaster Recovery using Recovery-as-a-Service. We’ll also have an “Ask the Experts” Bar, where you can get your questions answered straight from VMware experts, including Chris Colotti and David Hill.
As part of the Federation with EMC, VMware will have a featured presence in the Federation Showcase (Booth#336), where we’ll be discussing the future of the joint Software Defined Enterprise. That future will involve Platform-as-a-Service solutions and network virtualization for Software-Defined Data Centers. Built together, these interlacing technologies will provide enterprises with flexible IT and compatible applications across any cloud. Swing by the booth to see demos on Platform-as-a-Service, Network Virtualization for the SDDC, and Horizon 6.
