Editor’s note: On February 26th, 2019, VMware renamed VMware PKS to VMware Enterprise PKS. To learn more about the change, read here.
Workshops on VMware Pivotal Container Service (PKS) have kicked off across the United States and now they are coming to Canada. PKS SociaLab will be in Toronto and Montreal this month for workshops of high-impact training with VMware experts. This is your opportunity to ask questions face to face, try out PKS Hands-on Labs and network with fellow IT leaders and developers.
What to Expect at PKS SociaLab
SociaLab attendees can expect to leave with an enriched understanding of Kubernetes architecture and knowledge of operationalizing Kubernetes by using PKS on VMware vSphere.
Combining lectures with proctored hands-on labs, the workshop offers an immersion learning experience on containers, Kubernetes and PKS. Beginning with an overview of Kubernetes architecture, the workshop provides a deep dive into Kubernetes by letting you try it out on your own. PKS experts will also give an introduction to PKS, then guide you through the PKS Hands-on Lab modules so you can learn how to operationalize Kubernetes using PKS on vSphere. You’ll get the chance to test your newly acquired knowledge by deploying and managing a multi-tiered app using PKS in the lab.
Who, When, Where?
Whether you’re a developer currently using Kubernetes or a VI admin navigating containers for your app teams, SociaLab is for you.
We will be in Montreal on June 20 and in Toronto on June 26 for half-days packed with learning, personal development, networking, and expert guidance. Our small-class setting means that seats are limited. Register below before seats fill up:
