As 2017 barrels to a close, things are picking up speed in the cloud-native world during the final stretch before the winter holidays. With three great events running concurrently the week of December 4th, this year is set to go out with a bang!
VMware is proud to take part in all three events this year: SpringOne, KubeCon and Gartner Data Center Summit. No matter which event you end up attending, we will be there with you showcasing Pivotal Container Service demos (PKS) at our booth, along with presenting at some key sessions. Below is everything you need to know before you start packing your suitcase.
The theme of this year’s SpringOne is extremely inviting: “Let’s Build Amazing Software Together!” Taking place in San Francisco from Dec. 4-7, this conference attracts attendees who build, deploy and run cloud-native software. This unique four-day event brings together leading software companies, enterprises and cloud experts to collaborate, share knowledge and create transformational software.
VMware talks at SpringOne:
- Building Developer Pipelines with PKS, Harbor, Clair and Concourse by Thomas Kraus and Merlin Glynn
- Cloud Foundry Networking with VMware NSX by Usha Ramachandran and Sai Chaitanyakub
Taking place in Austin from Dec. 6-8, this umbrella event gathers all CNCF projects under one roof. More than 3,000 are expected to attend this year’s event, where both VMware and Pivotal serve as platinum co-sponsors. For those interested in cloud-native computing, this is the show for you!
VMware talks at KubeCon:
- State of Serverless by Mark Peek and Doug Davis
- Pontoon: An Enterprise Grade Serverless Framework Using Kubernetes – As Used in VMware Cloud Services by Kumar Gaurav and Mageshwaran Rajendran
- Multi-tenancy Support and Security Modeling with RBAC and Namespaces by Fred Vong and Michael Y. Chen
Touching down at The Venetian in Las Vegas Dec. 4-7, Gartner Data Center Summit is an effective way to get a summarized version of Gartner’s take on all things data center. This year’s theme is “Achieve the Enterprise Agility a Digital Future Demands.” VMware is a premier sponsor for the show, and will be hosting and participating in multiple thought leadership sessions.
Hopefully you have all the details you need to make the tough decision of which event to attend the week of December 4th. No matter which one you choose, be sure to stop by our booth and ask for a 25% off discount voucher on the Linux Foundation Kubernetes training. Prices go up in January, so be sure to act fast!
