I’m pleased to publicly announce that CloudHealth Technologies has achieved SOC 2 Type I Compliance dated as of May 31, 2017.
Over the past several months our teams worked diligently with A-LIGN, a leading independent CPA auditing firm, to perform an in-depth audit of our organization.
Our company’s SOC 2 Type I certification indicates that our company’s processes, procedures and controls are in accordance with the applicable Trust Services Principles and criteria set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A SOC 2 independent third-party examination and certification provides assurance to our customers that we have the proper internal controls in our systems and organization to keep customer information secure and highly available.
This certification is a demonstration of our commitment and significant investment in larger compliance efforts to meet and exceed industry requirements. In addition to validating maturity of our organization, it also sets us on a path of continuous improvement for internal policies, controls and monitoring across all teams and functions.
Although, due to impartiality requirement, we had to rely on independent means to supply evidence to our auditors, we discovered the CloudHealth platform can be used to satisfy several SOC 2 requirements. Here are two examples:

I also want to add that this is not just a point in time assessment, improving security and governance is a continuous process. We are fully ready to perform the follow-up SOC 2 Type II assessment and have it completed by Q4 2017.
