VMware Canada’s 2022 Women of the Channel

At VMware Canada, we are proud to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, part of which means celebrating the exceptional women on our team. We are very pleased to announce CRN has named VMware’s very own Robyn Eddison, Tara Fine, Rose Marcello and Clarissa Zinger to its Women of the Channel list for 2022! 

This esteemed list honors the incredible accomplishments of female leaders in the IT channel. Those named on this annual list come from all corners of the IT channel — including vendors, distributors, and solution providers whose vision, expertise, and contributions make an impact on the industry every day.  

By bringing innovative concepts, strategic business planning and comprehensive channel initiatives to life, as well as navigating the unique Canadian tech landscape, these extraordinary women support partners and customers with exceptional leadership. CRN celebrates these women, who are so deserving of recognition, for their constant dedication to channel excellence.

  • Robyn Eddison, Partner Business Manager: Robyn has played a key role in growing VMware Canada’s channel business to ensure alignment on account strategies by building enablement programs with corporate reseller partners. Robyn is a champion for fostering strong partner relationships, evident through valuable time she has invested connecting with sales representatives to understand their needs and business outcomes. Robyn is an advocate for ensuring diverse voices are at the table and hopes to elevate those with different points of view and experiences to grow the channel business. 
  • Tara Fine, Senior Director, Channel Chief: Tara has transformed VMware’s partner strategy and performance in Canada through building trust with key partners, creating high performing, collaborative teams and expanding internal and external partnerships.  Tara is an expert at developing meaningful business relationships across both field leadership and partners, creating stability during a period where adaptation is key, and connections are important. 
  • Rose Marcello, Senior Partner Marketing Manager: Rose drives various marketing initiatives with VMware’s strategic partners, leading demand generation and accelerating the sales processes to drive strategic SaaS-driven partner engagement. Over the past year, Rose has been focused on ensuring that partners are aligned with the new “VMware Story” and has been supporting partners as VMware transitions to a SaaS business. Important to Rose is that partners have a best-in-class channel marketing experience which leads to great business results for VMware Canada and our partners. 
  • Clarissa Zinger, Senior Partner Business Manager: Clarissa is responsible for driving growth within Canada’s diverse partner community and customer segments in Western Canada. Her primary objective is to build trust with key partners, creating high-performing resources within her territory. Clarissa has been driving VMware Canada’s channel business by adapting to and leveraging new methods of communication to interact with our partners. This has helped her to develop strong partner relationships and better adapt to and understand their needs. 

Over the past two years, VMware Canada continues to drive growth and partner relationships despite pandemic challenges, thanks to the exemplary leadership and work ethic of team members like Robyn, Tara, Rose and Clarissa. Congratulations to these dynamic women!
