After two years waiting for an in-person event, we were happy to reconnect with our partners, customers, team, and media at VMware Explore Europe – the centre of the Multi-Cloud Universe. The event included several key announcements to our portfolio, allowed attendees to up-level their expertise, and offered insights from our partners in a packed Solutions Exchange.
Why has VMworld been transformed into VMware Explore?

VMware Explore Europe 2022
On 7-10th November, we welcomed over 9000 enthusiastic attendees at over 500 sessions and 12 tracks and played host to 1000 speakers.
In line with VMworld tradition, VMware Explore kicked off on 7th November with an executive summary session delivered in a compelling keynote, focusing on where we have evolved as a business and how we are making multi-cloud a reality for our customers.
A key message? How do you as a business move out of the current cloud chaos into being cloud smart?
VMware Extends SD-WAN Leadership with Innovations Enabling Enterprises to Connect and Secure the Distributed, Multi-Cloud Edge – We’ve evolved VMware SD-WAN to meet enterprises’ requirements in support of distributed data, users, and applications. The new VMware SD-WAN Client will enable enterprises to provide consistent security and ubiquitous and reliable connectivity to users and devices everywhere.
- VMware Tanzu on Sovereign Cloud: With VMware Tanzu on sovereign cloud, organisations can build, run, manage, and better secure modern applications consistently on sovereign cloud infrastructure with enterprise Kubernetes built in. The Tanzu portfolio simplifies platform operations and frees developers to move faster and access the right resources for building the best applications.
- VMware Aria Operations for Sovereign Clouds: Provides continuous compliance monitoring, reporting, remediation, and automation capabilities that help partners remain compliant with both regulatory benchmarks and VMware Sovereign Cloud guidelines.
- Open Ecosystem Solutions for Sovereign Clouds: This gives customers access to multiple partners that are primed to provide cloud services.
