My direct client is looking for a VCP who is also an HP ASE (Accredited Systems Engineer), preferably a Master ASE SAN Architect. This is a grea sales support role with an attractive base salary plus commission in the NY Metro Area.

• Provide technical pre-sales support to there sales force
• Implement storage arrays, SAN fabrics, and ProLiant rack-mounted and blade servers
• Consolidate physical servers to virtual servers using VMware Infrastructure 3 Enterprise
• Configure VMotion, DRS, VMware HA, and Consolidated Backup for there customers
• Perform CapacityPlanner studies to identify server candidates for consolidation

This job requires travel at least 50% of the time, primarily in the NY / NJ / CT metropolitan area, but secondarily in Florida, Pennsylvania, and other locations in the US.
