View Thin Client Feature Matrix

I keep getting asked this question and it's a tough one to answer. It really depends on the Thin Client OS. So in looking around and asking around, my German co-hort Christoph Dommermuth came up with this fantastic matrix. So here you go!

You mention the View for Linux client... is this only available to Thin Client partners? The only downloadable Linux Client I can find it the View Open Client, which as the table shows is not as feature complete as the View for Linux client.

The Linux Client is only available from authorized Thin Client vendors. Several of the components in the View client are not available via open source GPL. This is why it can not be downloaded. Stay tuned for some news on that subject though.....;)

Why is it a problem that the client is not fully GPL licensed? The windows client is not GPL either and it is available.
