VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager 4.0.2 is now available

Hello all,

This updated release of SRM is now available and you can find the release notes here.  This is a maintenance release which means it has fixes and no new features.  I want to draw your attention to one fix in that if you are using vNetwork Distributed Switches (vDS) and are also using SRM you can now protect successfully those VM's.  You will need to have vCenter 4.0 Update 2 together with SRM v4.0.2 and you will have no problem protecting those VM's.  Due to the number of fixes, I would recommend using 4.0.2 instead of 4.0.1.  Thanks to all of the customers that helped us with this release, and the engineers that did the work!  Thanks very much!

Michael
