Partner Exchange 2015 Highlights

Over 4,000 VMware partners, from over 80 countries around the globe, gathered together and Dared to Thrive in this ever growing and evolving high tech industry. Day one of Partner Exchange opened with a General Session keynote led by Pat Gelsinger, Carl Eschenbach, Bill Fathers, Raghu Raghuram, and Sanjay Poonen. They highlighted the importance of bridging the client-server era to the mobile cloud era, and brought back the notion of Brave New IT. Dave O’Callaghan and Todd Surdey took a deep dive into how we are evolving our selling motions through Power Plays. We also unveiled the industry’s first unified platform for the Hybrid Cloud and our VPN Award Winners were honored at a reception.

The event continued on day two with a Journey to the Cloud as Ben Fathi discussed One Cloud, Any Application, Any Device, and shared industry trends that lay the groundwork for what IT is looking for. Some key takeaways for partners from the panel discussion with Kit Colbert, Joe Baguley, and Chris Wolf included not losing sight of NSX and the new services to market, and working with the CTO team more closely as they continue to drive EUC solutions.
