New NSX Pricing & Packaging Offerings

We’ve made changes to our NSX offerings to better serve the diverse requirements of our customers’ environments. NSX will now be available in three editions: Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise. Existing customers with per socket or per VM licenses and with active support contracts will be able to use all the functionality available in the Enterprise edition. With these new offerings, we are announcing the end of availability (EOA) of the existing NSX licensing scheme (legacy SKUs will no longer be available) effective today.

EOA Updates for VMware Continuent & vRealize Air Compliance

VMware Continuent – End of Availability
Effective May 4, 2016, your customers will no longer be able to purchase additional licenses of VMware Continuent. However, existing customers will receive technical support through End of General Support (EOGS), December 31, 2018.

vRealize Air Compliance – End of Availability
On March 1, 2016, we announced the End of Availability of VMware vRealize Air Compliance. Customers are no longer able to purchase this service offering or renew service contracts. We appreciate your support and any opportunities that you may have identified for the service, however please begin working with your customers on an alternative solution.

Cross-Sell/Up-Sell Qualified Leads Flow Update

Effective this month, the Cross-Sell/Up-Sell (XSUS) qualified leads will route to the Inside Sales Rep team for follow-up. Unqualified leads will continue to be visible in the Renewals Center. Since Crossfire Go-Live on Aug. 7, 2015 we have had several months to track activity against qualified XSUS leads passed to partners via Partner Central. Based upon the data captured we are making this adjustment to improve the workflow for qualified leads.
