What is a RSS feed?
RSS is a popular way to pull in news and information from across the Web. "Really Simply Syndication" allows web sites and blogs to push content to you easily. Say you come across a blog you find fascinating. A click or two and it now feeds directly to your homepage (i.e. MyYahoo, Google etc.). As the blog writer adds content, it will show up on your homepage with out you having to do a thing.
How do I use RSS?
The first thing you need is the URL of the RSS feed you are trying to view. The URL for VMware Partner News is: http://blogs.vmware.com/partner/rss.xml
The only other thing you need is a way to display the RSS content. There are many methods that can be used to accomplish this, some of the more popular options can be found below:
Add an RSS feed to your homepage (Yahoo, Google, etc.)
Use Internet Explorer's built in RSS utility (IE7 Required)
