New VMware vCenter Management Products Launching Soon
In July, VMware will release several new and updated products that are part of the VMware vCenter family of management products: vCenter Lab Manager 4, vCenter AppSpeed, and vCenter Chargeback. These new products represent untapped selling opportunities to existing VMware accounts by helping customers drive operational efficiencies and cost savings.
Just last month I got some ‘misleading’ answers from VMware employees in Switzerland and Germany about Lab Manager 4. On request according to a customer project, I was told that there was no information about the GA or even a beta program for LM 4 available. So I started to implement LM 3 on customer site. Now – about 4 weeks later – there is an official statement about the GA of LM 4 during July. This means that the availability of LM 3 in the customer project, will more or less hit the GA of LM 4. What should I tell the customer?
