Workstation, ACE, Player, Server Maintenance Releases
New maintenance releases containing security-related bug fixes are available for the following products: VMware Workstation 5.5.4, VMware ACE 1.0.3, VMware Player 1.0.4 and VMware Server 1.0.3.

New maintenance releases containing security-related bug fixes are available for the following products: VMware Workstation 5.5.4, VMware ACE 1.0.3, VMware Player 1.0.4 and VMware Server 1.0.3.
VMware Converter 3.0.1 contains bug fixes and new features including import of VMware Consolidated Backup images, import of certain StorageCraft ShadowProtect images, and an experimental command line interface for migrations.
Lab Manager 2.5 Beta, build 212 is now available and provides a fix for the Deployment Lease feature.
New pre-release builds are now available for download: VMware ACE 2.0 Release Candidate, VMware Player 2.0 Release Candidate, VMware Workstation 6.0 Release Candidate.
VMware's self-service Web-based TCO Calculator estimates the return on investment of VMware Infrastructure and provides a detailed report of potential cost savings. Calculations are based on VMware customer surveys and experience in the field from working on VMware Infrastructure production deployments.

The 2.5.4 patch 6 (Build #41630) and 2.5.3 patch 9 (Build #41618) have been recalled in the interest of stability for ESX servers.
Lab Manager 2.5 Beta is now available. New features include iSCSI and NFS storage support, 64-bit guests, Solaris 10 guests, automatic server pool cleanup, storage server maintenance, and managed server maintenance (release notes). VMware Fusion Beta 3 has been released. New features include Boot Camp support (release notes). VMware Consolidated Backup 1.0.2 is now available, and includes support for Windows Server 2003 R2 on the proxy server (release notes).
