VMware vCenter Application Discovery Manager (ADM) 6.2 is now GA.

vCenter ADM 6.2 adds the following new capabilities besides numerous routine fixes:

  • Knowledge Base Addition: Capability to discover SharePoint Application instances – ADM 6.2 includes a built-in Application Pattern for discovery of Microsoft Sharepoint applications
  • Support for NMAP as an additional discovery methodology – ADM 6.2 adds and integrates NMAP as an additional and optional discovery method in the IP Discovery category within ADM. NMAP can be used in addition to ADM’s existing discovery methodologies (Passive, Agent-less active polling and ICMP).
