Latest Updates
These are the changes or updates made to the Guest Operating System Installation Guide since it was last published:
- Updated with new releases for Workstation 5.5.6, ACE 1.0.5, and VMware Server 1.0.5.
- Updated with new releases for Workstation 6.0.3 and ACE 2.0.3.
- Added support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.1 on ESX Server 3.0.2. See “Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5” on page 96.
- Modified information about using network and SCSI adapters with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1 WS on an ESX Server. See “General Installation Notes” on page 109 for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1.
- Made miscellaneous edits.
