Should this be a cause for concern, i.e. if one is running ESX 4.0 Update 1 w/ vCenter? http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1016262

If you follow the workaround described in the KB then you should be able to upgrade.
